Steal Her Style: Millie Mackintosh

I spotted these boots recently on Millie Mackintosh and fell in love. I adore the deep red colour and cowboy feel. They would look great with leather leggings or jeans at the moment. In summer they would be an amazing addition to denim shorts and bare legs. To top it of they are currently on sale. So what are you waiting for.....click HERE!

Ring Thing

My fashion friends as you all know rings are the new thing. The arm candy party that has been raging for seasons is over and moved to another venue. Rings on ring fingers, rings on middle fingers, rings at the top of every single finger, rings stacked and stacked. You get the idea!

These rings are delicate, made of just a sliver of silver or gold. Pop them together and you have one hell of a ring party! My go to brand for gold rings is Gorjana. I have loads of their stuff and it is amazing! If you have cash to splash and want to bring that bit extra to the ring party, check out Catbird. The best of the bunch has to be the ASOS set of rings found here! So go party!!!!

Couture.....Juicy Couture

Juicy Couture.......what springs to mind?! The dreaded velour trackie! However Juicy Couture has certainly put the Couture back in Juicy.

Their Fall 2013 Collection has some serious attitude with a film staring models Kasia Struss, Lindsay Ellingson, and Anais Mali as a band of rock n' roll models who land in jail for being criminally stylish. It shows of their glam girls acting as if they have a bad reputation, while lip syncing to a cover of "Bad Reputation" by Dolly Rots.

They bring the fun in Juicy Couture.....and not an orange jail cell suit in sight! Check it outttttttt

Felt Feeling

I love a good hat.......they add to any outfit and hide a bad hair day! What is not to love?! I adored Hedi Slimane's first collection for Saint Laurent (yes I am still getting used to the dropping of the Yves). It showed that a felt hat was now more than just a head-warming accessory, it was now a fashion statement. It was proudly displayed on the January edition of Vogue, with the felt hat taking center stage on Gwen Stefani. Gwen wore a full look from the collection on the cover.....swoon!!!!! The felt hat is now spotted on many women around the world. I love how you can mix it up, keeping it casual or dressy. I have one from Nasty Gal which I love. My new lust is this Topshop beauty which you can get here!

Leather Clutch: Gap

Check out these really cute and simple leather clutch bags from GAP. These fold over leather clutches would top off any outfit with a pop of colour. I would pair mine with a simple white t, denim jeans and heels :)

Style Steal

Anyone who reads fashion blogs knows just how HUGE this Zara yellow jacket is! Gwen Stefani is pictured here wearing it....love! It has become a hunt on Ebay for a lot of people who were not lucky enough to nab it instore (myself included!) With asking prices through the roof I have been kept longing for such a statement piece. Until now!!! Yes ladies, I have found a super dooper version of this jacket. Same colour, similar cut and that essential zipper detail that gives this jacket it's edge. Thank you very much Nasty Gal....just click here!

Statement Sunnies Steal

So as I mentioned in a previous post, statement sunglasses are on my hot list for 2013. I have been on the look out for something sophisticated, not too ott and reasonably priced. ASOS has come to my rescue with these beauties here! They have the on trend cat eye and pearl embellishment.....style jackpot.

Eye Candy Makeup Photo Shoot

Hey Guys,so I finally got my laptop back!! One of my friends Ger has recently set up her own makeup artist business called Eye Candy Makeup. You can find her on Fb! Like most girls I love my makeup....Mac is my guilty pleasure!! Yesterday my friend Laura and I did a photo shoot for Eye Candy Makeup. It was soooo much fun! Don't get me wrong I am no model, but we made it fun so there was no pressure. Ger did an amazing job on both our looks.
Laura had a more sophisticated, smokey look. She wore a dress from Zara, that she got for a steal in the sale, which gave her that VB designer look. Of course those long legs and beautiful hair made the look complete! I had a more pop pink look which was so cool for a change and totally out of my comfort zone. The eyes were a purple tone and I had an amazing bubble pink lipstick applied. I also had eylure lashes applied, which I never ever wear, but I think I may be a new false eye lash lover!! I wore a hounds tooth pencil skirt and a Topshop grey cropped top. In some of the images I wore a cool neon pink beanie from Topshop and some geek like specs. I thought Ger did an amazing job on both our make up applications. I will be using her for all future events, to feel that extra special!
