Ring Thing

 My fashion friends as you all know rings are the new thing. The arm candy party that has been raging for seasons is over and moved to another venue. Rings on ring fingers, rings on middle fingers, rings at the top of every single finger, rings stacked and stacked. You get the idea! 

These rings are delicate, made of just a sliver of silver or gold. Pop them together and you have one hell of a ring party! My go to brand for gold rings is Gorjana. I have loads of their stuff and it is amazing! Crystals & Co. is one of Ireland's most well loved accessory brands. Owned and run by Dublin beauties Emily McKeogh and Leah O'Reilly. They established their own company in one of the worst recessions Ireland has ever seen.C&C has gone from strength to strength, and along with their own website www.crystalsandco.com , they supply retailers in Ireland and London, including my own store Daisy . As another young, female business woman I have huge admiration for their drive and success in building such a huge Irish brand. GIRL POWER :)

The line is full of all things that sparkle....earrings, rings and handbags. The pieces are adorned with swarovski crystals and rhinestones making them bling,bling,bling!! C&C has been spotted on many a famous face such as Whitney Port, Laura Whitmore, Georgia Salpa, Rozanna Purcell, but to name a few.

The variety in colour is huge, they come in an array of luxurious and vibrant colours. I love the fact it gives you that feeling of luxury and sparkle without breaking the bank. You can pop on some bangles and they jazz up any outfit.

I love to stack my thin & thick bangles....my friends and I are nearly always wearing at least one piece from the range on a Saturday night. Saturday Night: Casual Chic

Saturday night has arrived. Drinks with friends? A date? What to wear? Well I had a quick look in my wardrobe and thought of two very achievable looks. Using the same blazer, a t-shirt, denims/shorts and you have two easy wear outfits. 

Everyone has a pair of denims in their wardrobe but I am loving the coloured skinnys at the mo! They are a big statement piece. How about shorts? Not willing to get your pins out tonight, or feeling the chill...pop on a pair of tights (i live in them).  These leather look ones I bought last year in Topshop on a buying trip to London. 

There are loads of shorts out at the moment on the hight street. A colour like black is easy to style and wear. My love for t-shirts is clear for all to see...I have loads. Grey and white being my go-to colours. I have this one from Topshop in both the speckled grey and white (i actually have 2 white... shameful). Zara do great basic t's too fyi :) 

My gold lovage continues with this envelope clutch bag from ASOS. Big enough for my purse, iPhone and lippy ;) Pop on a necklace or some gold accessories and you are set to impress. Casual, chic and easy to wear!

Fashion Inspiration: Nicole Richie

A big fashion inspiration for me is Nicole Richie. She oozes cool and hip no matter what she wears. Whether it is a pair of cut off denims and white t-shirt combo or a backless Haute Couture gown. Her style is clean, laid back, hippy, cool. Key to her look is a very simple outfit, giving loads of room to pile on the accessories. This is a look that she pulls of so well.  Sunglasses are a major part of her look...rain or shine get your classic large sunnies on and rock them!! To finish it off...think bed head. Thant unkempt, I just got out of bed hair is easy wear and looks great. Nicole Richie I salute you for your California cool!

My Fashion Wishlist

So it is my birthday next weekend and I have been creating a list of my most coveted possessions....maybe I will get one. I have some images of some of the pieces below. Top of my list is this stunning Yves Saint Laurent. I have coveted this ring like I have never coveted a ring before. Well over a year and still counting, wanting it to be on my finger....AMAZING!!!! I know we may not all have the funds for this beauty, however their are many substitutions available on the high street or on eBay. These will tie you over until you can crack that piggy bank open and cash it in for this YSL beauty.
