Fashion Trend: Skort

I finally caved in and bought the bloggers number one fashion must have at the mo.....the Zara Skort! When it arrived I opened the box and it was love at first sight. I was a bit wary as I am so petite, that it may cut me off. In fact I think it does the opposite. I recently wore mine to one of my best friends Joanna's engagement party (no picture I am so bold). I kept it simple and paired it with a navy shirt, my Bershka ankle strap shoes, gold jewellery and white nail polish. I am so in love with this baby that I am going to buy it in the black....crazy I know. I love that this can be worn very dressy or very casual, I have been scrolling through Pintrest for cool ways to style it.....here are my faves, enjoy!

Felt Feeling

I love a good hat.......they add to any outfit and hide a bad hair day! What is not to love?! I adored Hedi Slimane's first collection for Saint Laurent (yes I am still getting used to the dropping of the Yves). It showed that a felt hat was now more than just a head-warming accessory, it was now a fashion statement. It was proudly displayed on the January edition of Vogue, with the felt hat taking center stage on Gwen Stefani. Gwen wore a full look from the collection on the cover.....swoon!!!!! The felt hat is now spotted on many women around the world. I love how you can mix it up, keeping it casual or dressy. I have one from Nasty Gal which I love.
