Penny's / Primark AW 12 Collection Preview

I have mixed opinions on Primark....kind of a love/hate relationship! However we all have at least a few pieces in our wardrobe that came from Penny's. That typically Irish moment when asked "Where is that from?", we roll our eyes and smirk as we respond "Penny's"!!! I was impressed with the sneak peek of the AW 12 collection....Very Sixties. Think Twiggy! It also features very on trend, tailored pieces. Lots of cute knits, pattern, skirts and bold accessories. My fave look is the last....I love the jacket (wanted the Zara version badddddd) and the high top heeled trainers, very like my River Island ones but I am sure a lot cheaper. Will you be joining the queue?

Saturday Night: Casual Chic

Saturday night has arrived. Drinks with friends? A date? What to wear? Well I had a quick look in my wardrobe and thought of two very achievable looks. Using the same blazer, a t-shirt, denims/shorts and you have two easy wear outfits. 

Everyone has a pair of denims in their wardrobe but I am loving the coloured skinnys at the mo! They are a big statement piece. How about shorts? Not willing to get your pins out tonight, or feeling the chill...pop on a pair of tights (i live in them).  These leather look ones I bought last year in Topshop on a buying trip to London. 

There are loads of shorts out at the moment on the hight street. A colour like black is easy to style and wear. My love for t-shirts is clear for all to see...I have loads. Grey and white being my go-to colours. I have this one from Topshop in both the speckled grey and white (i actually have 2 white... shameful). Zara do great basic t's too fyi :) 

My gold lovage continues with this envelope clutch bag from ASOS. Big enough for my purse, iPhone and lippy ;) Pop on a necklace or some gold accessories and you are set to impress. Casual, chic and easy to wear!

L&L Lovage

Leather and leopard print....two key ingredients for an on trend, easy wear outfit. Whether it is a casual day look of leather pants, loose knit pullover and a pair of leopard print wedges. Or a night time look to kill in a pair of leather shorts, cream chiffon blouse and killer leopard print heels. It is a match made in heaven. Personally I feel leather pants/leggings/shorts are a key piece to my everyday wardrobe....a little obsessed some may say! Fashion goddesses such as Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Nicole Richie etc. seem to agree. So get your L&L on!!!!!!
