Lace Up Lovage

I have been loving lace up sandals at the mo. They give the eye a ladder along the leg, giving an illusion of length. At 5'2 (just!!!) this is a major plus for moi! I love the fact that these can be worn as a more casual chic look or paired with a glam dress for a more night time look. My fave highstreet lace up's are these Zara beauties HERE! I am just about to go pop them in my shopping cart.......yay or nay!?!

Fur Vest

For several seasons now the fur vest has been a staple in successfully keeping out the winter cold. You can layer items underneath to keep extra snug. This winter the fur vest is back with a bang! There are many colours on the high street at the mo, from black to winter white! I love a brown toned one, I snapped one up in Bershka for a steal. Try Topshop or Asos for some alternatives! I will be pairing mine with leather look leggings and a cosy knit this Christmas.

Bowler Hats

The bowler hat trend has been on my radar for a while, but I have always been too chicken to pop that hat on my head....until now! That's right I finally bought this wardrobe staple *hurrrrah* Bowler hats are a quirky trend that give an indie edge to any outfit. The traditional bowler hat has that Charlie Chaplin round bowler head. As I have a rather large head, any time I tried one on I immediately took it off again. Thanks to Topshop my problem has been solved. The correct name is a Pork Pie hat, It is just more squared on the crown. Style Icon: Christine Centenera

Christine Centenera, was Australian Harper's Bazaar fashion editor and is now Vogue Australia's newly appointed senior fashion editor, is also a celebrity stylist, street style icon and a great fashion mind behind Kanye West's clothing line. Often dressed in Hermes, Burberry, Celine and the rest of high class brand names, but at the same time wearing them in her own uncopiable way....did you hear that Kim Kardashian!!! 

Christine is not intimidated by matching oversized clothes with statement shoes. It's the opposite - she is in the minority of people who can pull it off! She loves her leather pants as much as I do, she's wearing them very often as a wardrobe essential, usually matched with fur and super high heels for ultimate glam outfits, while messy hair and slightly baggy items give her that effortless and fun but very chic look. Love, love, love! <3
